Rock & Roll
Transforming leather offcuts into furniture pieces with their own distinct style.
Each year, around 800,000 tonnes of leather are discarded as off-cuts, which is equivalent to driving from Russia to North America 287,000 times in a diesel car.
To address this issue, we collaborated with a UK-based upholstery company to re-purpose their leather offcuts. By utilising simple techniques such as rolling, shredding, and pressing, our process led to two distinct outcomes that allowed us to make use of even the smallest pieces of leather.
